Jack Stem's Painless Portraits

This is my current work in progress. I've had many people tell me how much fun it is to see the progress of a portrait. They love watching lines, circles and dots begin to turn into something recognizable. I'm also hoping an aspiring artist might even learn something from the process.

So, here's my current project. ENJOY!   

This is my son-in-law, Brad. He's a former marine and an all around good guy. Next to my Dad, he's the nicest man I know. To me, he represents the marine corp, and the true heroes in this country. He's a "regular" guy who believes in certain basic principles, including  family, liberty, defending our country and way of life, and the pursuit of happiness. He talks the talk AND walks the walk. If someone needs a hand, his is the first to be outstretched.
