Painless Portraits by Jack Stem

I began drawing in January of 2004.

It was going to be a "stress reliever" and a hobby that would be for family and friends only. I really didn't think about starting my own business when I bought that first "how to" book.

So here I am today, producing portraits for all kinds of folks! If you want a unique gift for someone, a gift that you can't just buy in a store, then you've come to the right place.

My work has appeared on several other superhero sites. I appreciate the owners of those sites for showing my work. Here are a few links to some of those sites.

The Superman Fan Art Site is excellent and has a wonderful mixture of original art (pencil, colored pencil and paintings) as well as a multitude of computer graphics and art. Check it out!
